Ainsley and her mama are doing well. Lost heartbeat was found and contractions have slowed. Mom is staying another night at the hospital and Dad and the two boys have gone home for the night. She looked tired and flushed in the face, but otherwise okay, not so scared as she was earlier. Whew. Hopefully Miss Ainsley will wait at least two more weeks to make her appearance, longer is better, but at least two more.

OMG that must have been SO scary! I'm glad I didn't get here until the update was posted - I'd have been so upset all evening! Glad things are looking better. I'll say a little prayer for your family and for Ainsley!
How very frightening!! Hope & pray that both Miss Ainsley and her mama continue to do well, and they stay together for the allotted time!
Thanks for the thoughts and prayers. Ainsley and her mom are doing well tonight. My dtr in law was released from the hospital this morning, so I went and picked her up so my son wouldn't have to take the boys back there again. The doctor gave DIL two shots (some type of steroid) which speed the development of baby's lungs. Now if she comes early anyway, her lungs should be fully developed. Technology now amazes me.
Thanks again.
Wow - that's amazing that they can speed up the development of the lungs that way. I wish that had been available back in the 70s... I'd have one more wonderful brother.
I'm glad to hear that all are doing well - and hope that it continues!
Im so glad everything is ok!! Ainsley is a pretty name!! Lets hope and pray she takes her time getting here!!! You have another award on my blog!
